Welcome to Susan Mohr Art.

Growing up on a farm in Petersburg, Iowa, I discovered my passion for art at a young age, often sketching pictures from magazines during my grade school years. This early creative spark inspired me to obtain my BA in Art and Design from Iowa State University.

After graduation, I went into a career in residential and commercial design sales, honing my eye for detail and aesthetics. During that time my family grew and I decided to take on the stay-at-home role to three wonderful children. With that change in life I rediscovered my love for painting and dedicated as much time as I could to creating unique, one-of-a- kind pieces. My artwork is a fusion of my rural upbringing and education that falls into a contemporary realism style.
